The NZFC provides industry support through four key programmes: Industry Infrastructure, Festival and Awards, Producers Market Assistance and a series of focused professional development initiatives.

Some of our initiatives, like the 1st Writers Initiative, have become annual events but many take place on a one-off basis. Each initiative has its own application criteria and process. In cases where there are more applicants than resources to support them, priority will be given to applicants with projects in development with NZFC.
