Cannes Film Festival
Cannes is the world’s most important film festival, and offers a mix of international participants more diverse than any other film event. As a market it attracts virtually every buyer and seller of any importance in the film industry, as well as producers, financiers, entertainment lawyers, service companies and film commissions. As a festival it attracts film directors and creative talent, as well as the directors of all the major film festivals and several thousand film journalists from print media, radio and television, who provide international coverage. As a spectacle it attracts large numbers of film fans.
Venice International Film Festival
"One of the heavyweight trio that dominates the European festival circuit, Venice occupies the middle ground between the hustle of Cannes and the sobriety of Berlin. International press and industryites unfailingly gripe about its high prices and often maddening disorganisation, but the world's oldest film festival remains a major draw, not least of all for its enviable location" - Variety. It was founded in 1932.

Assembling around 300 features, this well run event is one of the largest and most popular public festivals in the world. It is also one of the major annual film markets, attracting quality acquisitions execs and distributors from across the globe.
Please note when making submitting your film, that the Festival expects all of the films it presents to be North American premieres unless special arrangements have been made with the Festival Organizing Committee.
