Grey William

Grey William is the story of Margie, a tour operator providing uniquely intimate NZ tours in her company van ‘Grey William’. But it’s a new, modern world which offers independence for travelers and, teamed the newer, larger tour coaches that now dominate the road, her livelihood is under threat.

Yearning for the companionship that she once had through her customers, she takes her time as she heads north towards Auckland in the empty van, visiting old familiar locations along the way, avoiding the harsh reality that her tours have become obsolete and her dream-job redundant.   

But will Margie just give in to her fate, or will her unbreakable spirit see her persevere, even if she legally isn’t allowed to.
