Junk comments on and shows hope for the poor and forgotten living in our cities’ suburbs. It introduces the viewer to four characters. On one side are three young boys who are typical of many kids today, hanging out, full of energy, often bored. They have the potential to go either way: to find their way to contribute to the world; or to slide into the darker side of life. The fourth character is an old woman who lives in a council flat, alone. When the four come together what happens is not what we expect.
