Location: Wellington

The New Zealand Film Commission has recently been through change to both our strategy and our structure.

We are looking for a Co-Production and Incentives Executive to join our established Wellington-based team. The focus of this team is on enabling and certifying film and TV official co-productions with New Zealand and administering the New Zealand Screen Production Rebate (NZSPR) Scheme.

The Co-Production and Incentives Executive supports the Head of Co-Production and Incentives to build and maintain international relations. They do this by researching and preparing for the negotiation of co-production arrangements; by certifying co-productions and New Zealand productions for tax purposes; by facilitating connections for New Zealand screen talent internationally and locally, including with the goal of increasing official co-production activity; and by leveraging and administering the NZSPR and its 5% Uplift component to maximise benefits to the industry and to New Zealand more broadly.

We welcome applications from people from a range of different backgrounds including legal (entertainment law and/or international law), finance/accountancy and/or film and television production.

To apply for this position, please email karen.anslow@nzfilm.co.nz. Applications close 5.00 pm on Friday 12 July.
